Quick Overview

White Cabbage Moth Decoys - 6 Pack

If you’re growing brassicas (Asian greens, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.) you’re hopefully aware that the dreaded white cabbage moth tends to ruin any unprotected crops. The moths lay their eggs, then the eggs hatch into plump green caterpillars and then they feast on leaves and seedlings.

The white cabbage moth is a major pest but growers are successfully using decoys to confuse and deter them. With its territorial behaviour it will avoid laying eggs if other cabbage moths are present. So fool those pesky moths with these lifelike decoys. This is a simple, no-spray, no-net alternative to help avoid an infestation.

The recommended placement is for 2 decoys per 5 m² and to be placed in and amongst the crop. The decoy is 55mm x 60mm and is sprint mounted. These lifelike cabbage white butterflies come on a long wire stake and will move in the wind.

If you are still having issues, Dipel is a bacteria (Bacillus thuringiensis) that is sold in the form of a powder that is added to water and sprayed over crops.
